Social Distancing School Board Meetings
In our effort to combat the spread of COVID-19, until further notice the Board Meetings will be live streamed on our YouTube channel. You can access this stream even if you don't have a YouTube subscription, as our page is public.
The Board of Education has instituted changes to the format of the meeting to safeguard the public against the spread of coronavirus/COVID-19.
The District will allow the public to be physically present during the Board meeting, during which time they will be afforded an opportunity to make public comments at the designated time on the Agenda. All individuals present in the school building are required to wear a face covering and engage in social distancing (6 ft.) to the maximum extent possible.
Individuals who are not able to physically attend the Board may participate in the meeting remotely by telephone.
Anyone who would like to address the Board during the public comment period via phone may contact Dr. Courtney Castelli at 618.281.4772 prior to the meeting. You will be asked to provide a phone number that you can be reached at during the meeting. The District will call you during the public comment section of the meeting and provide you the opportunity to make comments. All speakers during public comment are asked to limit their comments to three minutes.
All District meetings are accessible to persons with disabilities. Persons who need special accommodations to access the meeting should contact the Superintendent's office no later than one day prior to the meeting. Contact the Superintendent's office by phone at 618.281.4772, or fax at 618.281.4570.
The Board President may call for a break in the meeting as necessary in order for the Board to go into closed session.
In order to comply with social distancing recommendations, meetings will be held remotely and live streamed via YouTube until further notice.
